AXI IMMO – the expert in the commercial real estate has acquired a restaurant tenant – GANESH – for the Kowale Shopping Centre in the Tri-City. The Indian chain will occupy 223 m2 and will be an important element of the centre’s foodservice offer.

The Kowale Shopping Centre will be built on ul. Staropolska near the Tri-City S6 bypass, and directly by the 221 highway. The centre will be located adjacent to areas inhabited by about 40 000 people, in a fast developing part of the Tri-City.

AXI IMMO, in addition to tenants already acquired: Tesco and Genesh, is in advanced talks with several potential tenants from various sectors. Transaction details will follow shortly.

“An important element in a Convenience Shopping Centre, which is what the Kowale Shopping Centre is, is offering services, in providing tenants from of the foodservice industry in particular. Cooperation with the Ganesh restaurant chain is a fitting complement to the project,” said Osiecka Renata, Managing Director of AXI IMMO.

“The GANESH network is very popular in Warsaw and Łódź, where people from different parts of the city come to try Indian cuisine. I am convinced that in the case of the first GANESH outlet in Tri-City it will be similar,” added Renata Osiecka, Managing Director of AXI IMMO.

The restaurant offers dishes from traditional Indian cuisine. The chain appeared on the market in 2006. Each restaurant is distinguished by the characteristic atmosphere of India and Oriental decor. Depending on the premises, the main menu is extended with additional items of fusion cuisine. The restaurant in the Kowale Shopping Centre will be the first investment by Tapinder Sharm, the owner of the chain, in Tri-City.

“Indian cuisine is gaining popularity among Poles, gaining an ever wider circle of supporters, and further culinary proposals are accepted with enthusiasm, the best proof of which is the development of our chain. Our customers are people of different ages: young people, families with children or business customers,” said Tapinder Sharma, the Ganesh chain owner. “The location in the vicinity of residential areas and good access are important factors that determined the choice of Kowale Shopping Centre for our new restaurant,” explains Tapinder Sharma.
