DW Domel, a distributor of doors, windows and garage doors, has expanded its operations in Poland. The new distribution centre with a wholesale warehouse of 1,400 sqm will be located in Central Poland, in private investment north of Łódź. The complex tenant service and the analysis of potential locations were handled by AXI IMMO.

DW DOMEL is one of the biggest specialist companies selling doors, windows, garage doors and accessories for woodwork products for companies and individual customers. Its suppliers’ portfolio includes well-known domestic and foreign manufacturers such as PORTA, DRE, WIKĘD, DELTA, CENTURION, INVADO, POL-SKONE, HORMANN, and others. The DW DOMEL company was established in 2004 in Łomża and now runs additional sales from Zambrów.

We have decided to expand our operations and enter the Łódzkie Voivodship. The new location will join our other two sales points in the Podlaskie Voivodship. Presence in central Poland makes us more competitive and shortens the supply chains to customers in the western part of the country. The new distribution centre is also a perfect logistic base for further expansion into other regional markets in Poland – says Paweł Zabielski, Marketing and Sales Director, DW DOMEL.

DW DOMEL will occupy 1,400 sqm of warehouse space for wholesale warehouse and a logistics centre to serve the southern and western regions of Poland. An additional 200 sqm will be used as a modern office and social area.

After achieving its position in the north-eastern part of Poland, the client decided to enter another market. The location of the warehouse and office space offered by a private investor fit into the company’s growth strategy and the need for an intimate free-standing warehouse. Due to the specificity and nature of the business, there was a need for a large storage yard and car park, which would give independence – adds Damian Kińczyk, Associate Director, Industrial & Logistics, AXI IMMO.

The private development in the north-western part of Łódź offers 2800 sqm of warehouse and office space. To use occupiers are among others convenient large car park and manoeuvring areas as well as a material storage area.
