ASK Poland, a company that is part of the JVC Kenwood group, is moving into a new facility in Wilkowice. P.A. Nova S.A. was responsible for project delivery. The tenant in the new facility will have over 12,000 sq m of production, warehouse, office and social space. ASK Poland was represented in the transaction by AXI IMMO.
ASK Poland is a company from the automotive industry based in Bielsko-Biała, operating on the Polish market since 1997. It belongs to the JVC Kenwood group – a leader in the development of audio-video equipment and software. ASK Poland specializes in the production of electronics, providing high-quality audio systems (speakers, subwoofers and audio amplifiers) and antenna systems for cars of such brands as VW, Mercedes, Fiat, Audi, Porsche, BMW, Suzuki, Peugeot, Citroen, Nissan, Renault, BMW and many others.
Due to the dynamic development, ASK Poland decided to invest in a new production and warehouse facility. BTS project was built in Wilkowice, approx. 10 km from Bielsko-Biała. The company was interested in the location close to the company’s headquarters in Bielsko-Biała, as well as in a convenient location for logistics operations on the S1 expressway. The new ASK Poland building has an area of 12,407 sq m, of which over 11,000 sq m is for warehouse and production purposes, and approx. 1,400 sq m is offices and social space. The company intends to employ approx. 400 employees in the new investment.
“When planning the investment, we had several expectations regarding the new branch, which are crucial for future development of our business. The priorities were the space tailored exactly to our production needs and convenient location, ie. close to the headquarters and providing quick access for our partners, customers and employees – comments Nicolino Perna, Member of the Management Board of ASK Poland. Bielsko-Biała and its surroundings are now a region with a fairly low unemployment rate, where international companies, as well as smaller enterprises, are located every moment, which in the longer term may have a negative impact on the availability of the staff. Therefore, the attractive location was very important to us in the face of the employment plan of approx. 400 employees – adds Jolanta Szczotok, Member of the Management Board of ASK Poland”.
“For client very important issue was the new investment location in the Bielsko-Biała area. ASK Poland is based in the city centre and focuses on further development in Podbeskidzie. The region is an area of the automotive industry and provides quick access to production plants in Slovakia. On the other hand, due to the landform, the availability of attractive plots for production and warehouse investments is limited. We are happy that we have managed to find a convenient location for a new facility that meets the business needs of our client and partner for the implementation of BTS investment – comments Anna Głowacz, Head of Industrial – Leasing Agency, AXI IMMO”.
